Overview:

Commercial food photography for Frey's Food, a leading South African producer of premium bacon, sausages, ribs, and specialty meat products. The project required the creation of a comprehensive image library that accurately showcased the quality, texture, and presentation of their products across a wide range of prepared meals. The final imagery was intended for use across digital marketing, social media, website content, and large-format outdoor advertising campaigns.

Summary

Working alongside a food stylist, chef, and production manager, we planned and executed a two-day commercial food photography production featuring 25 carefully curated meal concepts. A fully equipped studio environment was established on location to allow dishes to be prepared and photographed at their peak freshness.

The shoot focused heavily on overhead flat lays and styled food compositions that highlighted Frey's product range in authentic serving scenarios. Every image was crafted to maintain product accuracy while elevating the visual appeal required for modern advertising and marketing applications.
